Now that you are well familiar with Horizon 2020 calls for proposals, it is time to open your horizon by looking into the opportunities of the so-called « Cascading grants ».

To make it short, some projects funded by H2020 foresee to provide financial support to third parties during their implementation phase. As a result, you find cascading calls for proposals on very specific themes. Some may be of interest to you so we thought it was worth sharing these potential opportunities.  These cascading grants are very diverse and can provide funding but also coaching or access to testing facilities etc. Here are two very different examples :

-        INTER-IoT calls for proposals to design, implement and test interoperability among different Internet of Things (IoT) platforms. It is open until 13.01.2017 to any European SMEs, universities and research centres and can provide contributions of max 125 000€ to individual proposers.

-        SuperBIO call for proposals is open to SMEs active in the biobased economy. Here selected SMEs will benefit from advices and coaching to build innovative biobased value chains as well as 75% co-funding to access to 10 different types of innovation services (provided by external consultants).  Applications can be submitted any time until 22nd of June 2018.

You can check regularly all the open calls for third parties HERE. Is there something for you?

Last but not least, NCP Brussels wishes you a nice break for the end of the Year !
