Check out the open innovation platfrom nir-vana to find the right partners and build sustainable collaborations for your H2020 or innovation projects, and more!
H2020, in very practical terms, is responding to EU citizens needs and challenges through collaborative research and innovation. Open/collaborative innovation is “Combining internal and external ideas as well as internal and external paths to market to advance the development of new technologies.” Chesbrough, H. (2003). But open innovation (OI) is above all about finding the right partners! And this is where your role as National Contact Points is crucial! You do OI all the time, even if you are not always aware of it – you are as NCPs facilitators of OI – sharing of ideas, expertise, and knowledge for innovative projects. What tools do you have to connect your clients with the best partners? Your networks are essential, and so are specialized partner search tools like Idealist, ETNA, net4society,FitForHealth, NMP partner search, NCP care, Enterprise Europe Network,... And also through the B2B events you are organizing. But what would you think about one platform centralizing existing platforms and manage your clients’ collaborations and partner searches in one place? In this context, nir-vana – an EU-funded project was created: with the objective to develop online services that will help small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) to innovate together with external partners, often referred to as open or collaborative innovation.
