How to avoid errors when claiming costs in H2020 grants?

"It is in the interests of beneficiaries and the Commission that there are a few errors as possible when claiming costs.

A low error rate:

  • strengthens the reputation of Horizon 2020
  • means continued taxpayer support for science and innovation funding
  • speeds up payments
  • reduces the administrative burden by preventing having to recover amounts unduly paid."

Indeed, such errors may lead to annoying and costly consequences. It is therefore in a common interest to avoid them as much as possible.

The Commission has prepared a short guidance document on "How to avoid errors when claiming costs in H2020 grants".
