The EU Top 50 Millennial Start-up Competition will be at the centre of the European Innovation Week programme.
The programme of the European Innovation Week starts with pitches of the 50 winners on 27 November. Five will be selected to speak on Tuesday morning, 28 November alongside Members of the European Commission and the European Parliament, C-level corporate representatives and investors.
The EU Top 50 ‘Hemicycle Start-up Convention’ will invite the EU Top 50 most promising next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs to present and showcase their ventures to European leaders in politics, business and finance, in areas such as security, education, transportation, deep technology, energy transition, space exploration, food and agriculture, health care & life sciences, climate change and environment, materials and new production technology, bio-, nano- and neurotech, and digital technologies.
Europe’s top fifty start-ups will be revealed at The European Parliament, during the 9th European Innovation Summit on the 28th of November 2017. The schedule starts with morning pitches by founders, given in the Hemicycle of The European Parliament. In the afternoon, the finalists will showcase their business ventures to investors and corporates. Different workshops, i.e. on how the EU is supporting start-ups, as well as Networking Receptions will be held.
Independent from the competition and whether a start-up is among the Top EU 50 or not, young entrepreneurs are cordially invited to participate in the event.
